paulos
What harm was it doing? Pest control is one thing, but killing simply because its there is another. Or am I just getting soft in my old age?

myzeneye
my neighbours roofs are full of them... ridges, ariels, tress etc.... my garden is like the anti pigeon zone..... maybe they know........ cant shoot them on neighbours roofs as retrieval would be tricky and not worth explaining.... activeviii
I get them in the garden as well as magpies, crows and jackdaws. the kids will not let me kill the squirrels but its a pain as it keeps loosing its nuts and they grow all over the place. this is the first year for a very long time that we have had song birds around as we use to have 30-40 jackdaws around, nesting in the chimney pots and that. I just spoke to one or two of the naiboughs and they said to shoot the bl00dy things as there blocking there chimneys. next thing, they all wanted me to.hehe. I put them in the deep freeze and use them as decks when I'm out with the shotgun.
