PTaylor2k4
hi, just wanted to see if anyone has used the brocock independent, webley stingray or the gamo shadow 1000? i havn't got to see any except the stingray but i like the brocock dispite it being long if i fit a silencer, if there any any other good guns without hitting me in the pocket any suggestions would be great, i sold my BSA lightning so i got money to spend on a new 1 (weight isnt realy a problem but i gota carry it all day) i'll have a look in the shops and see how they feel but i wanted to know what your thoughts are on the best springers for £200 - £300 for a kit. Thanks, i'll get back to work now

Hopefully i'll get a good look at them all tomorrow, but thanks for that pointless spam anyway, i see some people are trying hard to keep their post counts up :o keep up the good work has anyone seen or tried the brocock independent? thats the one i like the most, looks the nicest to me and seems perfect for what i want it for, its only for hunting but i want one that will do the job, and should i fork out another tenner for a 1 piece mount, never had 1 and was wondering what the advantages are? any help would be great, cheers
Aled_cky
i do NOT appreciate sarcasm thank you very much.. and learn to spell.. i think its 'arn't' never heard 'aern't' before. and it was not posted as a spam.. i posted for a source of information as many people have wrote reviews and things about those guns. i would say the Stingray.. i was thinking about it but decided to buy cartridges instead Aled
PTaylor2k4
and what is 'thnak' supposed to mean aled? End
ernyha
and what is 'thnak' supposed to mean aled? End PTaylor it is another of those Welsh words like "proberly". How anyone can criticise anothers spelling dropping as many clangers as Aled does, I don't know. I must remind him to press the "Caps" key when he starts a sentance as well. He started it lol, saying i can't spell, so in fact your telling me 'How anyone can criticise anothers spelling when you drop as many clangers as Aled, I don't know.' When Aled did it first! Next time read the post before mine, bsa Meteors look ok but after the lightning i don't wany anything 'too' similar :o
Fisherman Mike
I have used the stingray and it is a fine gun. I have also used the gamo as my nephew has one. It suffers the poor finish of mass production and some of the spanish workmanship is rather lack lustre. I have tried many springersover the last few years for the local gun shop as a sort of unbiased tester. In my opinion the AA TX200 HC is the best spring gun ever manufactured. I am sure if you try one you will come to the same conclusion. FM

ckbraider
Guys i know it is not a springer but the Theoben Fenman will take some beating shame about the £400 price tag though

PTaylor2k4
Guys i know it is not a springer but the Theoben Fenman will take some beating shame about the £400 price tag though i suppose gas ram is in the same area, i was thinking of getting a stingray then maybe upgrading to gas ram if i wanted to, but i could save up and get a decent one like a fenman orrrrr i could get a cheap one like a gamo and then i could sell it or give it away and i wouldnt be that bothered. btw i got my letter from the marines today so i'll only be using it until the end of february, and after using a real rifle i think the novelty will wear off just a little decisions, decisions i think it's going to be a cheap gamo combo to entertain me over winter
ckbraider
why dont you just by a pre charged, try a webley raider
plinker
i could be wrong here, but if i remember correctly the brocock is a jazzed up bsa meteor
PTaylor2k4
had a look at it and it looks cheap, not alot of places sell them anyway, maybe mail orders do. even the cheap precharged guns are too expensive for me, i'm on a budget lol

TX Sniper
with out a shadow of a doubt a tx200 or a pro sport, other than anything venom you wont beat them.
ED2020
I'll second TX Sniper's comments - the TX200HC is just about the best springer, out of the box, you can get. Ed.
