Hello all i am brand new to the concept of semi autos and was wanting some advice. It is to be used for bunnies obviously and i have heard about all the jamming issues which i suspect you get with any rifle. My options are ruger 10/22 anchutz 520/525 etc etc. if anyone can recomend one or even better sell me one that would be greatly appreciated otherwise i will look down the bolt action road again. Cheers in advance of any replies :good::mad:

Have a look at a magtech, i got one new for peanuts, had about 1500 rounds down it and its yet to jam.

accurate as any bolt action.

cleaning is a piece of urine.

I have got a 10/22 and it is brilliant fun. It is about as accurate as any other .22 and is cheap as chips.

I am having a few issues with it jamming at the moment but that is down to the cases splitting on the remington rounds that I have at the moment.

It loves CCI and eley though

Hi Mosa

I use a 10/22 and it is no problem.I have the 10 shot rotary mags and I wash them out from time to time with thinners and let them dry and give a light spray with WD40.

I fire Eley subs and have never had a jam.Great rifle I think and it cost me £185 00 second hand.

Ruger 10/22 fitted with an EDM extractor.. you cant go wrong... The mags are very easy to take apart and clean. Do a search on Youtube there is an excellent vid explaining how to do it :good:
