tikkamark
I love it when a plan comes together Any details or is it top secret? :yp: Ah no its simple enough theres a conifer forest just outside the town the greys roost there in big numbers coillte are after cutting a load of it and its now half the size This means the greys are handy enough to get i have the flight line sussed so i just sit under that and sit the caller on a fence post and hide they then come down and try and attack the caller the ones i drop i use as decoys its a great way of getting them and good shooting too!Shane knows another wood that the same tactic works Excellent results Mark.. Them goats look interesting, still their from the last time i seen them then.. .... Il give you a hand to get them out, if you get permission to shoot them, no probs. D was telling me that the pheasents are looking good, good luck for the 1st for ye all. As for that fox x alsation...well....someone must of been feeding him Red Mills..... Talk soon hopefully Mark, ill be down some time at the end of this month. Frank. Good stuff frank, just let me know what day your down and i'll head out with ye D is gettin on well you probably heard about the fox he got with the terriers last week...no spade or gun required with them dogs Looks like you've been out having some good times Mark - Same over this side of the water too, me and one of the lads have shot 15 charlies in the last week or so If ya need a hand with those goats i'd be more than willing to take another trip over !! Yes Mark, heard about the retrieving terrier alright... ..His a good one. Looking faward to some goat meat. I was talking to D last night, i said we would organise a few of us, to drag them goats out, once they are shot, should be good craic. As for 64gr federals Mark, id go with the AE 50gr hallow points instead, far better killing round for goats and more accurate too, believe me. :yp: Talk soon, Frank. Vegeta
Hi paul good to hear your getting on well The goats will be safe for the time being but if i get permission that will change I will have to stock up on some 64gr federal's. I'm with Frank, those 64 grainers did not suit my t3 varmint at all. Hornady 75 grain Match or TAP would be the business. 75 grain hollow point stuff. Very good knock down power and accurate to boot (expensive though) Had a chance to shoot a few ferals too one day, didn't take it though as I thought they might have belonged to someone. Found out later they were feral, better safe than sorry I suppose.
