Rabbiters in trouble

They could have been on private land.

Its surprising how many wildfowlers and rabbiters see marshland and waterside derelict factory land around the Isle of Sheppey and assume it has public access (despite the high fences).

I do know that the Landowners there are very diligent regarding "trespass".

No doubt we will hear some more in the next few days.

I would agree with Cranfield although it pains me

Unless you have been to the Isle you have no idea how bad it is. You will see numbers that are beyond counting and on our two visits we had to pack up after 3 hours as there was no room left in our motors.

When approaching a Sheppy farmer for permission to remove rabbits they will laugh and say yes without fail knowing full well that you will leave before making a dent in the population.

Saying that, if these bods was poaching then they deserve what they get for being too stupid to ask for permission
