rabbithunter2008
Predator Pellets Are they legal to use in uk? Only asking as never seen them for sale in any shop. Anybody used them before what did you think of them?

SAVAGE HMR
They are legal but to be honest they are a bit of a fad. Your better off with a tin of AA Diablo Hunter. A polymer tip on a .17 H.M.R. works but a polymer tip on am air rifle pellet is just there for show.
MM
legal, but ****. stick with domed.
amateur
Bought them, tried them on squirrels with my XS78 - but they don't fit in my multishot magazine. No better nor worse than AA fields, so will stick with the (cheaper) fields in future. Having said that, I'm going to have a go at rabbits on Sunday for the first time, so I will put the predators in my gun bag as well to see if they are any better on them. I might as well use them up Edited November 15, 2008 by amateur

PeteD
I use Predator pellets when hunting. the zero doesn't alter compared to the jsb exacts I use on targets and when mr bunny gets one between his eye and ear he doesn't get up. Deershooter Maybe confusing them with Promethius which are lead free & have a plastic skirt? If you want something that's a bit pointy & expands well, AA Hunters do quite nicely. A much overlooked pellet.
MM
they leave a plastic residue in your barrel as well what was the one we tested, and it was droping about 2 inch all over the place? i know i paid a few quid for em.
Lefty gunz
I tried these a while back, they were a bit random over 25yrds and they didnt make anything deader than any other pellet in the head. Waste of money when accuracy is everything imo.
