Cranfield
You need hide poles (the cheap Wilkinson clothes props) and a cammo net (ex MoD). I would buy as many shell decoys as I could afford, at least 12. You could also make a floater/bouncer or two. Visit Boot Fairs, Jumble Sales and keep your eyes open. Hope you can help Lee Edited November 21, 2008 by hitfreshairagain
Cranfield
I no longer use full bodied decoys for ground layouts (I have a couple for lofters) as I think shells produce a good pattern and are much easier to carry around. Its important that any decoys have as matt/dull a finish as possible. Some of the very cheap plasticy decoys are shiny even when dry. If you can afford flocked, then buy them, or look for the duller "normal" decoys. Check out the For Sale section on here and also, have a look round the Boot Fairs, Jumble Sales, etc., there is often decoying stuff at silly prices.
