Mrs Sweepy
Oh Tweedle I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Its one of those things that you put to the back of your mind . And not think about. Ive only had my two for the couple of years now. But i could never imagining opening my back door and not being greeted by them. She had the good life and was much loved. And you proved how much she was loved .By easing her suffering. You did the best by her. And now she is sleeping peacefully Your a good kind man for seeing when the time was right. Take care Tweedle your in my thoughts. xxxSuzy

Ballymac
You done the right thing for the dog, keep the memories. A dreadful time I have a lab at 10yrs and the kids have grew up with her so when her time comes.... I dread to think of it. A new pup will help when the time is right. I think most of us have been there at some point, know it's the right thing to do, but still not easy. Sympathies to the whole family.
