If you own an escort 3" or 3 1/2" chambered semi what is the biggest load you have put through the gun without blowing your face off? Name your loads....... P.S. starlight32 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 I have fired 2 1/4 oz of tungsten though one of my escorts I have owned. Had one 3 1/2" and two 3" models. But what I will say is I am on my third one now..... Literally I have wore them out. My first one after two years of ownership had so much play in the barrel/chamber housing it was nearly a pump action............ anser2 Posted November 22, 2008 Report Share Posted November 22, 2008 (edited) Marko if your Escort is in good condition a 3.5 inch chambered gun will handle any factory loaded shell for sale in this country, Gamebore mamonths , Remingtons , Winchesters and so on. I think the bigest load for steel is the Winchester Drylok 1.9\16s oz. For a 3 inch gun 1 1\4 oz of steel is the biggest load.
