seb
I just fitted a little Teal heated hand washer in the back of my defender 90 It is one of these but an older model and second hand http://www.tealwash.com/catalog/compactclassic/ After only 15 minutes there is lovely hot water to wash your hands after gutting a rabbit or when the kids are sick in the back...lol

lampa
Here's my Daihatsu Fourtrak 2.8TD that I regretably sold last year, Mods include: 1/Small Winch, not intended for serious off road recovery, but adequate enough to get me out if stuck in the middle of the night whilst lamping. 2/ Lightforce 170 Permanently fitted to the roof via Remote Handle system. 3/ Electronic Ucaller with amplified speaker fitted under the bonnet. 4/ Recip Mudtrial Tyres fitted to each corner, very good severe off road tyres but quite noisy on the Road. 5/ Gun rest, home fabricated using an old caravan towing mirror, tubing, pipe lagging and a Realtree gunsock, and a small amount of mig welding, fully adjustable and could be folded away when not in use. 6/ Custom Made Fibreglass Dog transit box, again totally home fabricated to my own specific requirements with storage compartment built in to the top. realtreedave
keep it simple ,just change the tyres for all terains[the more aggressive ones or not quite so agressive mud terains, you dont want to rip the ground up too much and lose your permission].spend too much on modifying it and it just costs more to fix.the manufacturers build them that way with thousands of hours of research and development for a reason.just look at all the toyotas running around in the gulf, they dont look heavily modified to me.ive spent 20 years driving off road through work, from suzukis to unimogs, keep it simple

fullbore
How many notify modifications to your insurers? Any modification, changing tyres, the stereo etc is a move away from the manufacturers spec and must be notified or you will find in the event of an accident you will not be insured. Read the small print on your policies chaps, don't get caught out
