GJUK
Hello I've recently bought a SxS and would like to 'cammo' the barrels. What is the best way to achieve this? Paint, cammo tape? Thanks, Jon
GJUK
I've just found this: http://www.airguns-today.co.uk/diy-paint/diy-hw2.htm Spraying is obviously permanent but i think its looks cool. Hmm
Lloyd90
Camo tape is good and you can just take it off when you dont like it any more
p-a-s
if you use tape you cant see the rust forming,i had a career 707 and thought it would give me the edge on corvids if i cammo`d it.bad idea,i stript all the cammo tape off and was shocked to see spots of rust had formed.i now use a neoprene barrel cover on either the shotgun or rifle.it slips off after each outing and if it has got wet i put it on the radiator to dry then the barrel gets the oily rag treatment.if you do go for the neoprene cover, just be aware the socks do tend to get pushed up the barrel and will soon start fraying if you dont notice.hth paul
GJUK
Interesting point about the tape. Thanks. I was thinking of painting the gun, though im not quite sure how well that would last, crashing through hedges with it... Hmmm! Jon

steve_b_wales
Get no-mar camo tape. It only sticks to itself and can easily be taken on or off. If it gets wet, just dry it out on a radiator and re-apply. I use it on my S/S shotgun. Another good one (I use on my O/U) is a camo sleeve. Simple to use and cheap to buy.
