MC
Now that is impressive stuff. Been some top honours for PWers recently. Is that a hint for us to ask what you have won? Mr Potter
Don't think this is the right topic but hey ho life's too short to worry about the little things! Help needed, I'm setting off tomorrow early doors for Dover on my way to France and the route takes me through Essex! Other than keeping my windows up and the doors locked any advice I'll report back in 10 days if I get through OK A slightly worried Mr Potter
MC
You are going the wrong way if a route from Cheshire to dover takes you though Essex. I suggest going anti clockwise around the M25.
Bigweed
Go a different way - avoid Essex at all costs

Don't drink the water Don't sit on the toilet seats And if a little Gallic mincer comes up behind you and offers a menage a trois with Michel and Jean, he's not talking about chicks B)
MC
If he is going via Essex he ain't going to get there anyway. Back on track I shot a 34/40 tonight.

MJN
If he is going via Essex he ain't going to get there anyway. Back on track I shot a 34/40 tonight. was that with the manual trap on the third stand ? 29/40 and as for the first bird in stand four, it could go anywhere if it got past the tree ! MC
No, It was with the auto trap on stand 3, I missed 2 of the teal from that one. with the manual trap on 3 everyone should have straighted it. I assume by stand 4 you mean the one with the rabbit. again it depends where the clay is on the arm, I did a bit of pruning when I set that one. I straighted that one. I missed 2 on stand 1, 1 on stand 2 and 3 on stand 3.

Chard
86/100 at Worsley today in the members handicrap competition Not over the moon with that, as I don't think it was a particularly hard course. I think that would put me about 6th or 7th or so out of 50/60 or however many entered Horse fly city today. Yellow Bear gave me a wipe thing called Jungle Juice that came in a sachet, supposed to repel biting insects. Seemed to do the job - no bites, but my mate Steve got chased round the place by horse flies . He didn't have any Jungle Juice
