robinhood69
Hi there Has anyone got or shot a Guerini Cearsar Mugnus,or in fact any other guns in the range. Feedback and thought would be most appreciated Graham
CEREALTHRILLER
Having read several reviews of the Guerini range I was very disappointed when I eventually got one in my hands Very nasty shape to the woodwork didn't feel nice at all Not balanced either but you'll have to try one for yourself to see if it suits you Edited January 12, 2009 by CEREALTHRILLER
Peter De La Mare
Speaking for the Summit Sporter, it's really good. A lot of high spec features, spectacular patterns and it feels like a £4,000 gun rather than a £1700 one. I much prefer it to my Browning GTS Elite. BlaserF3
Sorry...too much money for a "tarted" up Rizzini for me.
Peter De La Mare
Having had a quick grope of all the 'good value' guns such as Rizzini, Franchi, Bettinsoli etc, there is a clear difference between them and the Guerini. Guerini feels (and is) the same quality as Beretta/Browning/Miroku.
robinhood69
Thanks for the feedback,2 good reports and 2 bad!! makes my eventual choice hard.Had a quick look at one today along with a Beretta Silver Pidgeon V.The Beretta was a cracking gun but the Caesar just felt right.Im sure there of similar weight but the Guerini FELT half the weight. The prices were similar and to be honest a want something a bit out of the ordinary BUT can this gun possibly be put together with the same materials and quality of the Beretta? Would love to get feedback from someone whos had one for a while, but theyve been in the business only about 5 years,so i might have to take a gamble!! Gordon R
I have owned a fair number of Browning, Miroku and Berettas. I still own an MK38 and a 425 XT. I bought a Caesar Guerini Summit Trap last summer. It is certainly as well made as the Miroku / Brownings and better wood to metal fit than a Beretta. They seem to be very well put together. Handling is deceptive. Mine weighs more than the others in my collection, but feels lighter and better balanced. I am impressed. A few friends have used it and a few people who have just asked for a try. All impressed and my friends are not to types to spare my feelings. Gun for pounds - they are excellent value for money. I would imagine that once they are established over here - as they have become in USA - prices will go up sharply.
Zapp
One of my buddies uses a Guerini sporter, and it is a gorgeous gun, which shoots very well. I had a quick look at a Magnus Jaspe while he was buying his, and it too was stunning. The only thing that pu me off was that the wood was really, really light, which I dont like.
