DIGIMAN
Hi all, This may have been asked before. Is the any recipes for rabbit that get rid of the smell? I don't mind it so much but the wife can't stand it but she likes rabbit. Any ideas would be good. Zapp
Do you discard the pelvis? Most of the smell originates there. I take off the back legs, and then make a diagonal down-cut between the pelvis and spine on both sides and then twist the pelvis off. You only lose a small amount of meat, but the pongy smell should be gone also. ZB
Axe
Soak it in cold salted water overnight first.
