Greenhunter
As above really. I was thinking of getting something lighter than my CZ452 varmint.( if such a thing exists) Thanks
markbivvy
Would I need..., A variation to change like for like rifle? yes you would.A one for one is free. another slot or slots will incur a cost of £26.
Newsportshooter
From what I've been told by the FEO you have to :- Sell your rifle - then fill in a 101 FAC application (no need for extra photo's or to get referees again) send to the FLO with your existing FAC (i would suggest adding a note explaining what you want - ie your slot clearing for a new rifle as you have sold the one you had) - your slot is then cleared (as said it is done free of charge) and you can THEN go and buy a new rifle. I think you'll struggle to get something lighter than a CZ (they're... like built of paper) but good luck.
Mungler
You can get a 30 day hold over where you can have the gun you currently have and a new gun at the same time, but as soon as you buy the replacement you have 30 days to get shot of the old one. Cushat
You can get a 30 day hold over where you can have the gun you currently have and a new gun at the same time, but as soon as you buy the replacement you have 30 days to get shot of the old one. Does this not vary with police forces? I think some are now insisting of disposal of the old firearm before you aquire a new one. I think I read someone on here having such an experiece but can't find the post now!
