old rooster
Get out in the field quick before it’s the end of the season. Happy hunting Too late, you've missed it unless you live somewhere that's been very cold. Everyone I've heard from seems to be getting hung up on babies in the nest already, seasons gone all to pot !!.
the pelt man
What season, I shot a Doe 6 weeks ago in heavy milk and on gutting found another 5 just starting to grow. This is down in Herts. Its getting very close to breeding all year round as it is so mild now days. My Ferrets seem to get less and less field work.

dogsnuts
A little story from last week. Whilst out walking my dogs last week, i saw another person walking his dog (collie) and it was chasing a leveret around this field, after a couple of minutes it caught it and i walked over to this person (old boy) and i had a right go at him and told him to put his ******* dog on the lead and get off the field, that ****** me off for the rest of the day, that leveret couldn't have been no more than 3 weeks old, i was gutted..
