George1990
http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/guns/381445/17...rs_review_.html I have the Sirocco. My dad has a Whisper on his .22LR and all you hear is the pin hit the round. I'll the whisper on the HMR and compare It scores lower than the Sirocco on this test for the HMR, but higher when used on the .22LR (there's another test for the .22 somewhere) :whistling:
peck
I know this has benn done to death but, the only time you need a silencer proofed is when you come to sell it for use on a firearm, you cannot sell a silencer that has not been "proofed" for use on a firearm. i bought my Parker Hale years ago and was told "i am selling you this silencer on condition that you are going to use it on an air rifle", "if you are going to use it on a firearm it will have to be proofed". I have used it on both my .22lr and .17hmr and for my money for the price they cannot be beaten, as for someone saying Parker Hale have aluminium baffles, this must have been purchased recently as my son bought one 18 months ago and it has steel baffles, could it be that they are supplying 2 different sorts, 1 with aly baffles for air rifle and 1 with steel baffles for firearms.?
