Fuji Shooter
Finally finished doing up my 10 year old sons 12g shotgun so thought I would post a few pics. We got it off a PW member (Seb) for a good price it just needed a bit of work. Its a Midland Gun Co 12g O/U Double Trigger - the LOP was 14.5 and a litle long. Anyway we decided to chop it down to 12.5" so not keen on the idea of doing it ourselves took it to a local gunsmith thinking there was a special way of cutting it. Nope - put it in a vice and use a tenon saw!! As you can see it was a bit bashed and scratched. Thought we may as well add some new blueing so rubbed them down also. And here it is finished - we also did the bit that was cut off to match just incase anyone wants to make it full size in the future. This was done with Tru Oil and a Perma Blue kit. Not true professional job like what Straightshooter turns out but my son loves it and total cost for the job inc the gun £
