bunny_blaster
As the title says. Its an old foriegn single barrel pochers gun. It has a 29 1/2 inch barrel and takes upto 2 1/2 inch carts. the blueing has worn off the barrel and it has a fair bit of pitting inside. The stock is in ok condition with a few faint marks here and there. Im after a swap for a gun cabinet, preferbly 3+ gun but i can add cash for the right one. If not then i will sell for £75 Will get pics up later on tonite cheers ben
bruno22rf
I assume that this is a wall hanger as "a fair bit of pitting inside " surely means that it is out of proof-lets not forget that , apart from the safety aspect, it is an offence to even offer for sale a gun that is out of proof-unless anyone knows better? mcw65
offence unless you sell to a RFD
bunny_blaster
The gun is still perfectly useable. I bought it from shooting supplies in Bromsgrove not so long ago so i doubt its out of proof. I still use it and it shoots fine cheers Ben
snipper
nothing wrong with a bit of pitting i have a 410 sxs thats pitted to hell from black powder shells but theres plenty of meat on the barrels
bruno22rf
I wonder what would happen if you got someone else to take the gun back where you bought it and ask them if they are interested in buying it-be interesting to see if they said that it was out of proof.I bought a gun from a well known dealer that turned out to have quite severe pitting-they said that the damage may have been caused by me firing magnim shells thru it! and as such refused to refund my money.
