Lloyd90
Im 18 and started with a £30 chinese air rifle springer with a 4x20 scope in the back garden! :look: Now got a 22LR and slot for 17 HMR and will be puting in variation for a 223 or 22-250 for foxing. magman
Most people start with an airgun and then move on to fac , imho its the best way and 22 is a good age to start :look: As time goes on you will make a few friends that will help you down the fac route , most people do
rascal_2005
lucky man, how did you go about it?
steve_b_wales
I started out many years ago with a 'high powered' .177 GAT gun. Now shooting FAC etc. Is there anyone in your area who has an airgun, and could take you along with him? This should be a good start. scout
Started exactly the same way, with a 22 springer, then had a pcp. Put in for my FAC a couple of years ago and got ok for a 22 rimmy and a 17hmr, these were joined soon after by a shotgun, and I have just put in my variation for a 243 for fox and deer. Very addictive pastime. As with everything , the more experience and hours you can out in the more you will get out if it.
