fielddweller
Hello and good evening. I would like your opinion on insurance,my main shooting would be clay pigeons ,(with in the grounds of a proper club)but then rough shooting for a few months.Do people bother with insurance and if so which one. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but i would like to start on a legal footing. ATB Fielddweller
p@cman
Hello fielddweller Yes, I have insurance that came as part of the BASC membership package. My humble opinion is that it's only sensible to have some sort of insurance in place if you are going out shooting. to the forums too
webber
Welcome to PW. This subject has been debated to the nth degree, and beyond. Do a search, and see for yourself. I'm with BASC. webber

Mungler
BASC for insurance and the support of shooting, end of. Unless you shoot 95% plus on the clays then the CPSA has very little if nothing to offer you. Have a look through the previous threads and all will become clear. If you just want insurance and nothing else then talk to a broker and see if you can't get it tacked onto your household contents for nothing (maybe £15 tops)

utectok
basc for me although I think CPA might be less? Basc support our sport so that wins it for me not sure what CPA do for people shooting live stuff.
