lancashireunter
You have nearly as many different rods and reels as you have fish! Well done mate thats a live times worth of fish for me. I go to scotland every year but always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Think I need more local knowledge!, I'll await my invite to come and fish Bishop Auckland with the expert!!! Thumpersniper
Good fishing mate and excellent pics! What did you catch the monster in the third pic on? how much did it weigh? must have been double figures. I am off fishing later on the Rheidol, it has a hydro electric scheme so there are fake spates every day or two which allows the fish to run more than they would otherwise. Problem is there is no knowing when they are going to release water which is a pain because it doesnt go for long and its easy to miss. GW80
Lovely fish mate, i'm heading to the moy later in the month and hope to get a salmon or two, but Seatrout is my favourite fish and am lucky enough to have access to some nice fishing locally, which has picked up considerably in the last few years due to work carried out by the environment agency over here, which makes a pleasant change!! Wiltsmark
i'm heading to the moy. Lucky you wish i was.
GW80
Lucky you wish i was. I know, sometimes don't know how lucky we are over here, only prob with the Moy now is a lot of the good fly fishing is taken up by costly day tickets on the best beats so a lot of the good fishing on offer now is up river around foxford and mostly on Shrimp and worm, however you can get some smashing seatrout fishing on the Moy Eastury now, plenty of fish but can be on the small side at times!!!
