I am considering trying these sillosocks (beware uk shootwarehouse :good::lol: )

But I'd really like to know what PW members think about them?

 

I did do a bit of a search on here but couldn't really figure out what ppl think about them

given the secret ingredient WIND they are indispensable over drilling's or short crop, I genuinely have had more birds land amongst sillys than shells, and once you start getting real birds to put out they are a deadly combination.admitted it would be nice if they were a bit cheaper a recession reduction would be good.

They are good for drawing birds in because they "move" and they have the bonus of being light to carry.The flapper needs quite a bit of wind if you use it as a floater and the others need at least some wind to keep them open.

 

I did buy some but not from the site sponsor and think on the whole they are worth it.

 

If you want to see some in action,so to speak we could maybe go out and have a go with them next week as your only up the road.
