redkite
Perhaps it's my imagination but after 10-20 shots I think the power has greatly reduced out of my Rapid 1. I have just bought a new 400cc bottle to go with the 280cc job that came with the gun when I bought it new. I can't help feeling that the power drops off more quickly than the bumpf says! Any comments? Best redkite
bigred
With your old bottle or new one? what is it a .22 or .
bennyblanco
What pressure are you filling it too? Also, do you have access to another divers tank? I have known gauges to be faulty so it would be useful to fill it from yours and then see what the reading is from another tank. Have you chronoed the gun? and are you putting the bottle straight on? as they do tend to leak from the valve when off the gun. These could rule out a few possibilities ben
tweedledee
get the gun chronoed as said before.it answers a lot of questions.
bruno22rf
would it not be easy just to fire it into a telephone directory (preferably an old one!) and count the pages that it has marked -fire off 20-30 shots and then do the same again-cheap & easy test. redkite
Thanks Bruno - great idea. I will get it Chrono'd but your directory idea is a good one to check the power before I go out with the gun each time. Best redkite
