Topgunners
I went out late this morning and had a drive round to see if much was about. Pigeons very scarce at the moment but I found a few feeding on chitted peas alongside some rooks that were dropping in from a neighbouring quarry. I set up the decoys and after an hour I had shot 8 pigeons only but the blackies were flying about more regularly so I brought in the pigeon deeks and put out 1 flapper jackdaw and 12 crow deeks. I had a nice steady day and ended up with 47 blackies, 10 pigeons and then popped over the quarry for 3/4 hour and had 5 rabbits. Looks like rain tomorrow. Might be harder to find the birds then.
