Llanshooter
I've been using a small fishing seatbox, with adjustable legs attached. It was silver but I've painted it camo. What would peolpe recommend - apart form the purpose built expensive stuff that is, as I'm a bit of a cheapskate and like making/bodging stuff. Cranfield
I use a shooting stick, or a drum with a revolving seat, depends whether I am on half even ground, or not.
hedge hunter
Hi there mate,i had the same problem. Get yourself off to wilkinsons and pick up a big 33l bucket they use for brewing beer in, for only £7.99 then get to your local market and find some padding form, whack it on top. Hay prestow you got yourself a comfy padded seat plus something to carry all your gear in, thats all i use these days, and all for about a tenner bargain

THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Nowt wrong with cheap & cheerful. If dry & warm I just sit on the bank in the hedgerow or if around the back of the farm building I find something the farmers thrown out. I find the less you take with you the easer it is to move if need be. If possible I leave something in the hedgerow for when I go back but remove once that area is finnished with. Imperfection
I use an empty 25litre plastic drum with a rope tied through handle so i can hang it off my shoulder along with rest of gear and then just pack a cushion to keep my *** from going numb.
miroku4399
i got a 25 litre barrel from a garage and drilled a large hole in it to drop my empty cartridges in it saving time and leaving no mess behind me
flytie
I've got one of those small blue fruit barrels. I got this 'cos of my dodgy spine, it's higher than the commercially made ones, so easier for me to get up from. I made a seat out of marine ply and put two layers of foam on it. I scrounged the ply, was given the barrel (which fits nicely in my big pigeon shooting bag) and pinched the foam from the wife's supply. Easy and cheap. ft
