steve_b_wales
After having my 'supervision' condition taken off my ticket so that I can now go deer stalking on my own, the police, in their wisdom, decided that I can use my .243 to shoot vermin on an 'open' ticket, but cannot do so for deer. I contacted BASC, and, eventually, I have now been told to send my ticket back to the police, and they will remove the condition. Without the help of BASC, I know I would not have had this done. My thanks go out to Matt Perring of BASC.

Highlander
Support for BASC is support for your sport. Taking all that they do plus the shooting insurance the subs are very (very) good value for money.

Marine1980
My mate has a condition on his that states he must only shoot deer from a high seat but does not state the minimum height of the high seat! This seems a bit strange as this seem an impractical condition and could be taken as any thing that takes his feet of the floor. I keep suggesting a deckchair would be comfortable off the floor and a great way to shoot according to his cert!! Has anybody else got this condition? steve_b_wales
To be honest, in an earlier post, I did slate them a bit, because numerous letters and phone calls to them were not replied too. The letter I had off Matt stated that BASC have been 'snowed under' with requests for help. I now accept this as the reason for not replying to me, but, would it not have been better to receive a letter saying that my 'problem' will be dealt with, but may take some time. Anyway, I'm happy now. My thanks again to Matt, and the team at BASC. Edited April 28, 2009 by steve_b_wales
