So Like I said more people dont mind or want them to stay than want them gone!

Lies, damn lies and statistics! Some very selective reading there! To look at it another way, Less than a third actually like reading them, the remainder either think they shouldn't be there at all, ignore them or only occasionally glance at them out of MILD interest. TBH I didn't really give a huge amount of thought to the poll options as there was no agenda, I just wanted to stimulate debate, and perhaps the ones I chose are a bit woolly? Maybe to get a definitive feel for member's views a more focussed poll is in order? Maybe two options:

 

Should very graphic images showing significant carcase damage to quarry, (e.g. head shot deer, rabbits shot with C/F rifles etc) be allowed on the forum?

 

Yes

 

No

 

Or similar wording

 

Perhaps moderators could have the final say as to what is acceptable or not, in the best interests of the site? I've posted my poll, I'll leave this to some one else if they think it's a good idea.

I saw a picture which was posted of a rabbit probably only as big as my hand that had no head, just ears and between the ears just a red jelly looking mess Clicky

 

There is no need to post such pictures, but if thats what makes you more of a macho hunter then so be it, it's not my cuppa tea, but thats just my opinion

 

if you want to look at it do...if not, just don't no one is forcing you to look at it

where is the I shoot but don't feel the need to see the pictures?

 

I haven't voted because its not anti fodder just an issue about real shooters not needing to blow their quarry up and take pictures

i like to see what people are doing and i dont mind the pictures but at the end of the day we all know what damage can be done so dont realy need the pictures . a set picture showing the guns and target prey set up nicely show respect and thoughtfulness . we dont need to see the goowy bits.....or should there be a set aside section for total destruction pictures so as to help keep them from the main forum................
