smokeyoakey
Hi all Iwas wondering if anybody has brought one or two of the John Norris fishing shirts, which i am thinking of buying. But to make things worse i have noticed his range of Barbour Country Shirts. What i am looking for is a smart casual shirt to go pigeon shooting in, but the bit that put me of the fishing shirt was the you can unbutton the main flap at the back (do you let it hang) but then again it is what i want for the summer, (if we get one). I have brought things from JM before and i must say i have been most impressed with their Quality and their service was second to none. Any feedback would be much apreciated Cheers Smokey
Dunkield
If you mean these ones: http://www.johnnorris.co.uk/shop/ty_232-ba...hing-shirt.html Yes I bought 2, and to be honest they are sat in the drawer, and have hardly been worn. IMHO they aren't very comfortable, the material seems a bit hard if you know what I mean, they have been washed a few times to see if they would soften up but they haven't. I have one of these and gets worn to death, yes it cost more but it will last for ever looking at the way it is made and is 'feature rich' It also protects agaisnt UV and has a roll up collar. http://www.craghoppers.com/webapp/wcs/stor...542_11051_13834 I like Craghoppers stuff - it just does what it is supposed to. Cranfield
The best, long lasting, smart shooting shirts you can buy. http://www.body-clad.co.uk/shirts-for-wint...e-post-85-c.asp I have loads of the The Tattersall Winter shirt in all colour options, they never wear out and are sensibly priced. Highlander
My pennyworth... http://www.nomaduk.net/tropics.htm the best outdoor shirts you can buy. The guy who owns the business is a bit of a nightmare to deal with (no offence if you're a member here ) but IMO the clothing can't be beaten. I have a huge wardrobe of these shirts and wear almost nothing else (shirt wise ) and I'm outside most days. They wear extremely well, blood and stuff just washes out, they don't need ironing (which Mrs H loves) and are cool in summer but warm in winter. Highly recommended. Blackpowder
I have been wearing John Norris fishing shirts for a few years now, you need a good base layer in cold weather - but as the advert says the pockets swallow up fly boxes cameras and mobile phones with no problem. A very comfortable garment in my opinion. Blackpowder
vole
If Norris can chuck in a 2nd shirt for just £6 it shows what kind of mark up they have. The shirts from Cranfields link are ace and priced very fairly.
TDC
Barbour is what I use, my only complaint is that they are made for people with arms like gorillas.
