mikee
i was talking to a friend since i posted originally and he has used them odd times and reckons they are quite good, they do a lot of police marksman training and the like. i dont really like the term "sniper" when refering to hunting animals, it sort of makes them sound like targets not living creatures, i'm odd like that mikee
Devilishdave
By all accounts they make some good rifles. I beleive atleast one of them was a sniper in the paras a number of years ago but I have not heard of any one who has done th "sniper training". Baldrick
I have had a rifle rebarrelled by Andrew Evans-Hendrick, plus some other minor work. He's a capable 'smith, but I recall clearly some members of other forums being furious about his inability to adhere to a deadline. That was several years ago, and there was no delay with the work I requested. Riflecraft is a little Walty, but the training is aimed principally at police firearms teams, although I am sure it has huge appeal to filthy airsofters. 'Thug, if you failed RAF selection due to your eye condition, Army or RM sniper training is a complete pipe-dream for you. And it's actually a really **** job: no back-up whatsoever, physical discomfort that a civvy cannot imagine, and the over-riding risk of being captured (and crucified) by the enemy. Marksmanship is only one of many arts that a sniper must master. It's almost as important a skill for a sniper as being able to poo neatly on cling-film. welshwarrior
Anyone who fired a 1 000 rnds on a sniper course must have failed a lot probably only a sharp shooter. And shooting is only a small part, snipers can also call in artillery or most useful observe and report so must be capable signallers and good at map reading oh and stay hidden Edited May 10, 2009 by welshwarrior

Baldrick
You'd be promoted quite quickly for showing such diligence and enthusiasm for your work, Mung.
