They are both the same gun! Tell him to buy a 2nd hand Beretta etc!!

second hand beretta semi auto in camo for £350-£400, where do you get them from then. im fully aware thet a second hand beretta is better that either of the 2 mentioned,

I've no idea, i don't live in Yorkshire, but the semi's you mentioned are in fact the same gun only branded differently so tell your mate to buy the cheapest or buy it from the dealer giving him the most free shells with it! Or you could buy a 2nd hand beretta etc and put a camo sock on it.

i know what your saying pal, but a camo stock doesnt make it a camo gun. and im sure the only beretta camo semies are the urika and extrema and even second hand are out of price,

i know escorts are sort of ok and some say there ****, but recently on hear iv heard of a couple of exploding barrels so thats put me of recomending them to him, yet my mates some has a 20 bore escort and its a sound little gun and hardly ever jams,

The W&S has a different loading pattern to the Escort,

The Escort bolt release is on the LHS and has to be depressed when loading shells into the magazine to allow the gate to function.

The W&S has the bolt release on the RHS and has a free running gate.

The Escort is all fingers and thumbs to load whereas the W&S loads like a Beretta (minus the magazine cut off, which the escort has). And the Escort does feel more agricultural when firing. (you seem to feel the bolt moving rearwards and hear it a lot more)

So in my opinion they are not the same gun (purely due to the loading internals)

Id go with the W&S

Thats what i found when i tried both side by side last week.

(i must add that the W&S was an 810 - the older one)

you'll pick up an escort for half what you will a beretta - fired 250 carts with mine in one go without issue. loading it is easy - load first cart in and release the bolt, turn it upside down and feed the other two in - no issue at all.

Winchester sx2 or sx3 :hmm: Better than the wembleys and escorts. Should pick one up for around £500

Before owning a webley i would agree but the webley has not missed a beat and i cannot fault it at all

Have you ever owned a webley or escort ?
