Billy.
I've always been told to turn eggs twice a day, but now I'm starting to read loads on the Internet saying 3, 4 or 5 times a day... How many times do you think's best?
al4x
its always worked ok when I used to hatch some with turning twice a day, just depends how much time you have I guess and how modern the incubator.

Stealth Stalker
Turn in the morning & turn at night. Are you using the incubator that I used?
Billy.
Turn in the morning & turn at night. Are you using the incubator that I used? Thanks SS. No I'm using one I bought. Just finished candling and 4 out of the 13 aren't fertile.... I guess that's what you get when you buy the eggs from Woodside!
Greenhunter
3 times is a good idea if you are leaving a longer period over night. Don't forget to spray once in a while, more if ducks/geese! And only 4 duds in 13 is not that bad! Good luck with them Will!
Billy.
Just to keep you updated. It seems one of the chickens is making an early bid for freedom. He's started chipping away a day early! Wouldn't mind staying up all night to watch, but I have work. Actually, seeing as I've got nothing but twiddling my thumbs all day at my desk whilst my MD remotely watches my desktop to check up on me, I doubt a sleepless night will make much difference!
