proTOM1
Yesterday got a call from a farmer asking if i could put one of my crow traps on a maize strip they had drilled was not that keen as it ment a 20 mile drive each day to cheak it but would make a few quid so agreed . Got to the farm with the trap and started setting it up then the farmer came to see me and said why dont you have ago the other end see if you can shoot a few so i jumped at the chance Set up with a few dead rooks which i had taken out of another trap and they came in well then the pigeons took an interest so started bagging them aswell after 2 hours i was out of shells so rang the farmer who came straight out with 250 more, to cut a long story short had a great days sport that was not planned and shot well to get a great bag of 147 pigeons and 132 blackies it was a long day tho as i set up at 8am and packed in at 7pm ! Love my job some times Went and checked the trap this morning and it had 23 in so 1 happy farmer Tom
