Just from a personal perspective, whenever I have been asked to help a pest controller/keeper, the minimum I have been given is the cartridges and most times I have been paid as he has been paid also.

Personally a ladder trap etc. has worked well for me.

Don`t know where you are going with the grammer(sic) and spelling though :P

Hey bignoel,at least you offer some shooting out mate, and if it was a paid job(im not suggesting it is) so what? some of the guys would be more than happy for a days shooting, some have no permissions of there own,and rely on the generosity of others ,thought all of us on here had something in common(maybe shooting)we have enough problems with the antis, without pulling each other apart, and GrAmMaR who cares about that, lets concentrate on our shooting,And good on yer mate, dont let some on here put you off..BB

Couldn't agree more, im still looking for a permission of my own, yet Martin Moreton and P.A.S have very kindly took me on there permissions through contact on this website, and its that type of generosity that keeps me looking for a permission. I have have learnt a hell of a lot from these two kind souls. Why slag people off for helping people like me keep an avid interest in this sport.

These generous people deserve a lot more than getting pulled to pieces on this site!!!

To MM and P.A.S, A big :good:

Bignoel, you are a top man offering shooting to others. Henry d, congratulate yourself on spoiling it for a decent bloke and opportunities for others. I was very lucky to have a day on crows with Blue Barrells recently. Whilst the shooting was a bit quiet due to the extreme heat, I had a great afternoon and met some decent chaps.

To all of you that are thoughtful and generous with your sharing your shooting, please do not be dissuaded by the ignorant rantings of a few. :good:

I don't want to say to much but I am a pro pest controler too, now people have a very misguided idea of what we do for a living and to be honest the shooting aspect is maybe 1% of our daily routine, then that 1% is usually in factories after pigeons. I think that Henry has shown a lack of knowlege and been quite disrespectful of Big Noel and I do believe that a public apology is in order, not only to Big Noel but also to the people that have lost a days shooting because of it.

As a last thought, we often get people applying for jobs with us who push the shooting side of things, we don't employ these people as they won't be happy checking mouse boxes all day. Professional pest controlers don't shoot for a living unless they are very very lucky.

Having said all that maybe I'm wrong and Big Noel is the exception to the rule! :good:

well done bignoel for offering some shooting to less fortunate lads on here, its just a pity some people cant see a kind genuine offer when they see 1. then spout off and ruin a days shooting for some lads.

I agree Henry d should make a public apology and compensate the people who have lost out because of his actions

Nick76... your spot on mate, In fact all you guys who have posted on here are.. part from YOU Henry D.

Ps.. what's the d stand for in your username :D
