rimfire4969
I have insurance with NFU buliding and contents, i have been told my guns are insured for theft don't know about damage as long as they are not worth more than £2500.00, if they are they need to be named on the policy. Ozzy Fudd
yeah house insurance can cover them ok. its a bit of a grey area if the guns are damaged whilst in use, but last year my mate broke his anschutz .22lr whilst leaning over a round bale in his yard, one nice big fat claims cheque later and he bought himself a tikka t3 .
David BASC
Home insurance is often the cheapest way , but check the conditions for guns, like cover away from the home, excess, , or other types of claim that will not be covered - damage by internal explosion is often excluded, so damage caused by plugged barrels of poorly fitted chokes could be excluded - always check.. Baldrick
I have my guns on a specific, 'special reserve' policy with AXA, brokered by the NFU (an insurer/broker that doesn't treat you like a criminal for owning guns). Prior to that I had them covered on a MoreThan contents policy.
