falconry-fan
Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone will be going to the Scone game fair this year from July 1st to the 3rd. I haven't been before, but i;m taking time off work and spending friday to sunday in the Salutations Hotel,Perth I hope it's as good as it sounds, I;m planning to spend, spend spend, even with my meagre salary as I intend to purchase a lot of falconry equipment there. It'd be fun to meet someone from the forum.
rupertx
Im gonna try to get along myself but it could be touch and go as the missus is due to drop around the first week in July so i'll have to wait and see. Do you have your own Falcons then ? where do you fly them etc etc ? Cheers Steve
M ROBSON
I'll be there. Save your money till the Sunday when the prices come down. Mark.
falconry-fan
I'm pretty new to falconry Rupertx, but I'm addicted already, It's a passion for me. I don;t have my own hawk at the moment, and mostly hunt at a nearby falconry centre. I'm intending to take a falconry course very soon, as I want my own bird and hopefully in the future it will become more than just a hobby. Congrats on the soon to be new arrival , wish you and your wife well and hope you have a beautiful healthy happy future sportsman(or sportswoman). Thankyou for the tip Mark, I;ll just look around on Saturday and watch the displays, then shop on sunday, though I am considering booking a falconry hunting day on Saturday instead. game_boy
So what did we all buy at the Game fair then !! Personally I didnt have much to spend but got a Winchester Shooting Vest for £10 reduced from forty or so the sign says. Quite handy for warm weather with the 12g. So it seems ok. gb. M ROBSON
It was nice to visit the fair again after a 3 year break. Some nice stalls and a few bargains to be had. Glad the weather was kind too. Mark.
