Edward
It cycles pretty much every 28grm 24grm and had a go with a few 21grm. They were 2 1/2 inch, Stick with anything over 2 3/4in and you will be fine

kev 1
Yes,they dont jam on some escorts, but they did on mine, not all the time but it starts to get irritating.I have read on here that you can buy a updated spring that allows for the smaller carts/ with lighter loads apparently. But if you got the 3 year warranty take it back and find out about it and edgar bros should mail it to the gunsmith to update the gun.... welshdragon77
hi i bought one and it recycles good on no 6 cartriges but in the 3 inch magums it jams. I thought it would be a great gun to go out hunting, rough and ready put it in the pick up, how wrong was I ! this gun is pure shambles a waste ot time and money, if you get an oppertunity fellow shooters save you well earned cash for longer and get a better make. Anyone want to swap a 3 shot hatsan for a o/u 12 bore !! Ill even take a baikal !

I am guessing that you have one of the older ones, the newer ones (with a curvy butt pad) are much better

Alanl50
Hi I have the 3" mag Hatsan Escort and it takes everything even my reloads at 28g I love the gun It only a Remi copy inside. The only cartridge it does not like is the Lyevale the rim is to narrow on the head and slips past the magazine follower when firing But Im not keen on "lyevale" anyway Edited July 26, 2009 by Alanl50
