bit of a daft question but i like to know.

I have a beretta U2 semi, great gun love it to bits, in the box there is the spanners, the chokes and key, shims for adjusting cast and that and even a little pot of oil :good:

but what this rod for. about 300mm long and 4mm wide with a nobble on one end but i cant find what its for.

anyone know?

that would make sense. i used it to clean the crud out of the place your talking about.

so at a guess i would undo the front bit, slide this bar in so the nobble is on the outside and then screw back together.....gosh i speak technically.lol.

will go and have a look i think.

thanks

Phil.

you'll pull off the front wood and there will be a cap on the end of the mag tube. Usually it is inside the mag tube and will have a slot in the top, Pull that out (don't get hit by the mag spring), put the reducer in, and put the cap back on. All of the plugs I've seen have taken the capacity from 5 to 3, but that's because in the states we don't have a 3-shot cap in general (so there are no crimped semi autos) but Federal Fish and Wildlife regs require a 3-shot cap on ducks and geese and some states require a 3-shot cap for all small game.

thanks
