tinytim38
We have just bought a couple of live catch fox traps for our pheasant shoot, I have used these sucsesfully in the past baiting with fresh rabbit but at this time of year they only last a day or two before there rancid, and given that crops are standing, rabbits are time consuming to shoot, because of this I was wondering if anyone has experience of another bait that is readilly available from a butcher, I was thinking of lambs hearts , any proven ideas guys? nipper
Def rate the kippers Another fairly good one is the skin and fat off a roast chicken .

John_R
Makes you wonder if some of the fishing bait additives might work. Those range from pleasing to minging, Monster Crab and Belachan being near the riper end of the scale.
