BSA-airgunner
how well do these last
Cranfield
how well do these last They are made to a very high specification, so one assumes they will last a very long time. I am going to buy one to replace my Pinewood Rotary. I only want to know how long the arms are and UKSW is closed until Monday, it looks like I will have to wait until then. Harnser
Looks as if all that set up needs Cranfield is a Harnser MK.1 magnet base . Harnser .
Cranfield
I have used the Pinewood rotary for many years through all seasons and it is the same basic design as this machine. The three bracing legs screw in, I have never used them and I have never had any problems pushing the rotary into the ground on the single spike. Anyway, do we get a PW discount on this Mk1 rotary base ?
malkiserow
I have one and will measure and post info tomorrow. Do you want the square to round bar on its own or with the extra square extention?
chrispti
If anyone has one of these UKShootwarehouse Magnet Ultra Lightweight rotary machines, could you please PM me. Are those the ones you cant use dead birds on
malkiserow
OK just done it normal arm (square to round) is 1.170M long Extention is 0.91M I do not like the tripod unless "going light" So I just put the centre spike in an old magnet base which has a tube sticking with a locking ****. It is an excellent magnet, However, the grubscrew holding the top to the motor shaft is too small in my opinion, it works but only just. If for any reason the top moves and need adjusting (which can happen) they you will probably be sending it back for UKSW to do a repair job (which they do VERY well). malkiserow
Are those the ones you cant use dead birds on YES no problem. The motor is so stong you cannot stop it by holding it whilst it is running!
