luckett111
Dear all, Does anybody know of any moors in the Derbyshire peaks that may need a beater or two for the upcoming season? Any info would be absolutely great! Failing that any shoots in cheshire, partridges in particular as I head back to uni late september! Thanks all, PM me with info! luckett111
Cheers guys, I was a member last year and got nothing so im a bit hesitant and thought I would try and make direct contact with the shoots themselves this time around! Thanks again

the_commoner
i wouldn't bother with nobs go to guns on pegs, there are days advertised on there some of which have the keepers or shoot owners name, call them and ask them directly
grouse2008
Its not free to register at NOBS any longer and to post or pm on their Forum or to get beating or picking up you have to pay. I joined PuBS www.pubs.myfunforum.org , but membership isnt needed to use it, got all the picking up I needed. For free. They are running beaters courses too,on a proper shootday, all meals and an oven ready brace of birds, all free as well. Im tempted to sign up just for the grub. partridge60
Surely there should be more detail on the actual safety and instruction on a beaters course and less on the food? Its difficult to concentrate on eating when you are full of pellets.
