Whizzy
Hi All, We often hear the term ammo "X" shoots best in my gun..... What are people using ? In my 10/22 I am presently using CCI Subsonics, seem to work fairly well. I have tried Eley, RWS, Lapua .. Nothing seems to shoot particulary well in this gun though. Would normally blame myself but can shoot fine with my other guns

hants rifle
In my .22 semi I use Eley Subs. Not sure if they're the most accurate but they seem to feed better than the others. In my .25-06 I use Federal powershock 117g SP's (when I can find them!)
Wookie
I currently use Winnie subs for my CZ452, which are not bad (sub inch groups at 50m), but Lapua shoot noticeably tighter at the same distance. It's a shame no one round here sells the damn things really.
Vectra26
Best ammo I've found for my 10/22 are Thunderbolts. Not the most accurate, but certainly the most reliable for my *** 10/22.
Glensman
I use winchester 22T's... Don't use subs myself...
jcbruno
Federal game shock, eley, lapua and winchester aswell as remington subs and this depends on which of my 5 22's
Ozzy Fudd
everyone says remingtons are ****, but my 10/22 likes them; used to only use yellow jackets but they werent accurate enough at the longer ranges ive needed lately, so switched to remington target rounds - i took a rabbit at 130 yards today
maddog546
Glensman the winchester T22 are awesome on rabbits as they are very soft and give excelent expansion for a solid nose round, they are also a little bit faster being standard velocity and the moderator still works, havent seen any down here for along time so all I use now is winchester, find them to be the most accurate in my bruno and you dont get that stink of Eley powder which chokes me,as for remington I find them more effective if you chuck the whole box in the hedge and hope they land on a bunny,so inconsistant .You would think they were made by the late Woolworths chain in the pick and mix department, subsonic, high velocity and blanks all in the same box,I also found the gases blowing out of the chamber ports very of putting. Norma ballistic tip 50 grains in the .223 as I found them to be the best grouping at 200 yards,Sako the fox would have to be the size of a newfoundland!! Federal 130 grain nosler partion for the .270,superbly accurate and excellent expansion, makes you cry when zeroing though at £2 a round.
