Many thanks

Recommended Posts

Cheers guys, lots of good ideas and help has enabled me to get some good loads rolled.

Presently the .222 has printed well under 1/2" @ 100 for 3 slightly different weights of powder and the 6.5 is printing .6" @ 100 with a rushed session of loading.

Again many thanks to you all and I will see if I can tweek both a little bit more :D:hmm:

Just need to get another 1/8" closer............... :hmm:

As I say the 6.5 was a rushed job but performed well for the competition, I on the other hand let the side down

and as for the triple, well those foxes etc. need to be hit well after my last escapade so the less variables the better :D

Reloading seems to be a law of deminishing returns.

The .223 loads I quickly cobbled together to use up all the bits and pieces I couldn't sell/post turned out to be the best ones ever, work that one out

Absolutely, then you turn to the custom barrel/stock/trigger/chamber and then back to cartridge length/primer/powder/head/head space/jump to the lands/coreolis affect/windage/velocity/............don`t mention scopes etc...........

Geekery on a scale similar to the big bang :D

I guess it depends how anal you want to be about it all..

For me - nothing more than an afternoon's testing of length, put me under 1/2inch at 100 yards

The 3 dead foxes I shot last night didn't give two hoots about the state of my trigger or even how windy it was.
