jim_whitson
Wow. That's not very much at all! Get tha'self down london - they pay a fiver for a pair of breasts down there!
Pike
Jim, please do enlighten me as to where this bloke is who will pay a fiver. I live 15mins motorbike ride from central London and end up giving most of mine to the ferret rescue centre for nothing - and sometimes have to drop them off mysef! jim_whitson
:*) Well, I half meant that as a joke... You see, I was rooting around in my folks freezer last time I was at home, and I found a pair of pigeon breasts with "genuine wild essex Woodpigeon, 4.99" on the label. :( So, if you can get a stall at Borough market, you might be laughing. But I doubt that the people who *charge* a fiver would *pay* anything like that... But if you want to make real money out of pigeon, and you can get to london, try phoning some restaurants... I've seen pigeon breast dishes for more than fifteen quid!

Pike
Thanks Jim, I know Church's in Epping high street were charging £150 per bird last year! Our head office is literally just around the corner from Borough Market so might give it a go. :(
