MM
Its a breakfast cereal, mainly eaten in Scotland. They boil it up in a pan with milk, and then add sugar or jam. I like a blob of honey in the middle. There is a famous maker called 'Quaker' who sell it in a box with a tartan clad shot putter on the front. Baldrick
Borage seed oil is very refined and rich, and is used for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. We grew borage up until last year, on contract for the pharma trade. It's a rather fussy crop to harvest and eradicate after you're done with it, but if you get it right, the financial return is spectacular. MerseaDavid is about to start cutting his borage. He will be able to expand on how this year's crop has fared.
lord_seagrave
The leaves also have a delicious fresh cucumber-y taste and are great in a Pimms. MerseaDavid must be making one hell of a jug! LS
Ferret Master
They are the preferred choice in Pimm's however cucumber is used when it is unavailable. FM
