The Clubman Comp is being held at Doveridge on 30/31st August.

Apparently there is also a 100-bird shoot on the sunday too.

Chard and myself are having a punt at it on behalf of Manchester Clay Shooting Club, so I wondered if anyone else on here would be down there?

This is my first post on here so hello pigeon watch.

I fancy the Sunday 100 birder as well, I don’t think I will be wining anything as the CPSA have mysteriously moved me up a class :friends: .

Nicky why did you pick that Chard as your team mate?

You should have gone for that Craig guy he shoots with, he is a miles better shot, smells nowhere near as bad, is not senile & he kicked his butt last time at Doveridge. :birthday::birthday:

100-birder should be good fun too :birthday:

******* hell, standards are dropping round here :drinks::lol::good:

Hello mate, wondered when you were going to put pen to paper :birthday:

I think it's a separate course and we're doing it as well. The Clubman thing includes Skeet and DTL unfortunately :birthday::friends:

Are you at Worsley tomorrow?

Yep sure am, looking forward to it, got the bug of trying to improve myself again.

Are we playing on the skeet range afterwards....

What time are you are doing the 100 bird at Doveridge?

I'm too disorganised to know the answer to the last question - ask Nick :friends:

I'd better have a couple of goes on the skeet :birthday: . Somebody had better swat up on the rules too (Nick :drinks: ). That's half of my problem, I'm too busy trying to think what I'm supposed to be shooting at :birthday:

Yep I know, hence the scenic farm visits on the way to the Welsh open. It was a lovely farm though, just not a premier clay shooting ground. :drinks:

I'm hoping to be down at Worsley tomorrow too to shoot against Grant - only problem is he didn't leave his number when he left a message this morning so i can't get hold of him to confirm i'll be there and the mobile number i have isn't working for him! :birthday:

Don't suppose either of you know an alternative way of getting hold of him?

Try ringing Jim Wagstaff or Mike Sargeson, they might have his correct number or home number

Failing that Randy Andy at the club might give it to you, if you don't mention Data Protection and the Human Rights Act :birthday:

You need to think about your tactics against Grant ......

The power of the internet came through; simply pushing "8" on my mobile whilst listening to the message gave me time that he called and the number that he called from :birthday:

Tactics smacktics! I've been on a week long intensive training regime of sleep deprivation so i'm ready and raring to go :birthday:

:drinks: You should hopefully get through this round Nick, though unlike with me, you might need a couple of your handicap points this time.

Good luck tomorrow (in case you start earlier than us) :birthday:
