Frank
I hope some one can put me in the Picture. I know that fox Hunting is banned, does this apply to hunting with lurchers in the UK? As I live In Ireland, I loose touch with these things. I just heard all hunting with dogs is banned, but is this only fox hunting or is it with all dogs? Thanks for any info. Frank
So Hares are out of the Question? So Rabbits, Foxes, and rats can be cought with a Lurcher? I ask because, a friend of my mums in England has Lurchers and regularily lamps rabbits so I got a bit confused. I use to hunt with Lurchers a lot, over in England and here in Ireland. I moved from England to Ireland in 1989 and have been here since. Ferreting with whippet type lurhers was the best fun. But now and again a Hare would pop up accidently, it was a nice addition to the bag, very tasty. Thanks.

dunganick
and game keepers can work terriers on foxes as long as they have a radio collar on and its a single dog i believe

henry d
Just to confuse a bit more.....up here we still use hounds to flush foxes in fact the last one I "Compromised it`s welfare" was flushed by hounds and I believe that if said fox aint fast enough and the hounds chop it then that is ok too
