Edward
well a biakal s/b or a webley b/a would do the job. I would get a tatty webley for cheap, tidy it up and stick a scilencer onto it (well thats what Im doing....nearly)
rascal_2005
when you say cheap, do you meen the old batterd ones like the ones you get on gun trader?
Edward
when you say cheap, do you meen the old batterd ones like the ones you get on gun trader? yeah the 50 to 80 quid ones aslong as the bore is in good nick. I bought a really tatty one, had it re blued and the stock re done by straightshooter1. The pics do do it justice but I am costing up a 9" mod. the webleys have a 26" barrel so with the mod that would be a 35" barrel so it wont fit in my cabinate with out taking the stock off, something to bear in mind

Diceman
I have a Spanish .410 with a full length Hushpower. It a great tool but it is VERY long and only just fits in my (extra tall) cabinet, on an angle, and I haven't yet been able to find a slip that it fits in properly. So you might have factor in the price of a new cabinet
rascal_2005
that is something to think about
Mattw
The Webleys are good, I have the 3 shot 3" magnum rated one. it shoots OK. you need to have a comb raiser too or it all gets a bit funny to shoot. Paid £125 for mine, not perfect but good order. With the bolt on mods dont expect them to make it silent, the 9" hushpowers take it into rimfire terroritory, ok to shoot without ear defenders but still quite noisy! Hope this helps Matt
beatingisbest
If you dont want it overly long i'd say to get a single barrel, not bolt action as the barrel on the bolt actions start helf way up the forend. Ive got an early webley bolt action and thats got a 25" barrel but because the barrel doesnt start in line with the trigger its the same overall length as my AYA s/s which has 28" barrels. Bear that in mind i would.
