Oh no, they're planting maize

:hmm:

That means no shooting for me next summer.

However, it does mean there'll be wheat stubble over the whole of the winter. So, will the pigeons want the spilled grain over the winter or will they target the new drillings?

Not sure what they're doing in nearby fields, but I only have a very small permission.

I do have permission on one massive field (where they aren't doing maize), where they normally do wheat or barley, on top of a hill with harsh weather conditions. This year they had rape up there for the first time (that I can remember). Any farmers know their likely course of action?

Cheeeers
