MC
I have shot a few and they are shockingly bad, the trigger is awful and the accuracy is apalling.

tweedledee
i have shot a g22.very spongy trigger after a long pull.apparently bad for breaking firing pins. the one i used shot ok but accuracy was nothing to write home about.ok as a plinker
Epic Fail
i wont be looking for one of them then.. after i sell my stirling i am either going to get a cz bolt or an assault rifle as i like the look of them as they are different and you dont see them every day would be using it for 50-70 meter shots at a range and over land so most likely will be the cz
carthos
1 word - USELESS - almost as bad as a magtech semi auto...
lineshooter
Have you looked at the GSG Mp5, supposedly very good now they have ironed the bugs out, I know two guys at our club that have sold their Walthers and brought these. Edward
^^ I looked into one, it looked cool and was 22 shot and that was about it. it is hard to moderate and people might think you were a terroist and they look a bit goofy with a scope. but I would still have one as a plinker
Epic Fail
yeah i did look at them but as said they are hard to moderate... and yeah they do look odd with a scope...
lineshooter
I did see in Gunmart recently that someone was doing a moderator for the GSG, the problem is the length thing to keep it legal, with a mod it makes the gun about four foot long :look: but looks a fun plinker with all the add on bits, and you`ll need plenty of ammo. Terrorists use AK`s the good guys use mp5`s :look: Edited September 17, 2009 by lineshooter
Epic Fail
they look very cool but ive seen some customised 10/22 rifles and one i have seen comes with quite a few mags too..
stevethevanman
It is ok for just sending rounds down range or as a plinker but if you want a really accurate gun this isnt it Really you would buy it for fun if you want it :look: ...as that is what it is mostely used for, it would drop a rabbit as say 30yds, but then an airgun is the best option I would say that getitng on for 70yds with this rifle is going to be hard, hope this helps mate :look: Steve

mr salt
i would also say go the 10/22, so many ways to make it how you want it. so many have been sold . cheers scott
lineshooter
The 10-22 was my first gun and I luv it, I`d never sell it. I brought a load of internal bits from the states, I tuned and polished the action and picked up a new walnut deluxe stock of flea bay for £25, I kept the standard barrel as it`s very accurate with CCI Mini Mags. There is so much info on the net about these guns, dare I say, they are addictive, you wont go wrong with one of these, I believe they now come with a screw cut barrel, a bonus if you want to hunt varmints.
